One of the goals of SWS and a priority of Shivawn is to make sure that all the women that come feel seen, heard, and considered. Growing up Shivawn was very quiet despite how she shows up today. It usually took her longer to find her space and her people while out. After deciding she couldn’t allow life to pass her by, she started to go out to social events, art shows and more – solo. As she found her footing and courage, she always made it a point to talk to the person that was out by themselves. From there she made some connections and others just became familiar friendly faces she may see out the next time.

We don’t expect our host to put a cap on and save the world. We just desire women who are looking to be intentional with their connections with strangers while having fun. What we desire most is that you have a heart for people.

Commit to hosting four to six dinners for the year.

Assist in providing recommendations to restaurants in your area.

Set the table with the provided (mailed) products.

Use our conversation cards only to navigate the dinner.

Schedule the follow up coffee meetup (more about that later).

Take a few pictures/videos of the night. (We try to avoid having phone use during the dinner)

Let people know you are hosting dinners for strangers.

Please note that this doesn’t need to be a professional video. You can use your cell phone and don’t worry about any hiccups while recording.
